Being Charitable?

I admit it! I'm one of those anoraks that collect things! I happen to collect pins. You know the ones..... Charity pins, sports pins etc. ...... you can buy them everywhere, they don't take up much room to store or display and they're usually not much more than £1.00 to buy. My charity pins are amongst my favourites (well..... that's not counting Bugs Bunny, purchased in Disney, Orlando at enormous cost) but that's beside the point.

Now I have to sort through almost 150 of them in order to weed out the ones that are racist!

Yep! Political correctness gone stark raving mad. It appears that a cancer charity has had the temerity to produce a charity pin that depicts the cross of St. George. Well! Let's burn them at the stake, I say. The pen pushers and prison inspectors (otherwise known as "the wets" and "the namby pambys") have decided that, the wearer, might be seen to be making a racist statement.

hmmm...3 Welsh dragons out, 2 welsh leeks, 3 triple feathers, a celtic knot and a sheep (don't ask...) well I am welsh!
1 anglo/european union flag, 1 french cockeral, 2 Kenyan animals, 1 Barbados flag, 7 x various American and 1 Japanese No mask (Noh theatre). hmmm.... should I take a chance and keep the Federation and Klingon pins...... No they're obviously examples of racial profiling.

While i'm at it... those Aids badges...... it's a gay thing...
